Why get the desktop app?

Virtual camera for Zoom & Teams

The desktop app registers a "CameraPrompter" camera. Zoom, Teams, Meet, or OBS sees your clean feed while the script scrolls full screen on your side.

Its own window, offline-friendly

A dedicated app window with its own taskbar icon — no browser chrome between you and the lens.

Same account everywhere

Sign in with your CameraPrompter account and your scripts and settings sync with the web, iOS, and Android apps.

Installing takes a minute

01

Download and run the installer

If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose "More info" then "Run anyway" — the installer is safe; we’re a small publisher still building reputation with Microsoft.

02

Approve the virtual camera setup

Installing for all users registers the virtual camera automatically. On a per-user install, click "Set up virtual camera" inside the app and approve the administrator prompt once.

03

Sign in and read

Your scripts are waiting. Turn on the virtual camera in the control panel and pick "CameraPrompter" as your camera in Zoom or Teams.

On another device?

CameraPrompter runs free in any modern browser at cameraprompter.app — no install needed on Mac, Windows, or Linux. It’s also available for iPhone and Android. One account, same scripts, everywhere.

Read the script. Zoom sees you.
