This Privacy Policy describes how CameraPrompter ("we", "us") handles your information when you use the CameraPrompter and CameraPrompter Pro applications on the web, desktop, iOS, and Android (the "Service").

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. Authentication is provided by Supabase.
  • Your content. Scripts you write and your app settings are stored in our database so they sync across your devices. They are private to your account and are never shared or used for any other purpose.
  • Subscription information. If you purchase CameraPrompter Pro, payment is handled by Stripe (web and desktop) or by Apple's App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat (mobile). We store your subscription status and expiration date. We never see or store your full payment card details.

Camera, microphone, and recordings

CameraPrompter uses your camera and microphone for the on-screen camera overlay, in-app recording, and voice-activated scrolling. All camera and microphone processing happens locally on your device. Video and audio are never transmitted to our servers. Recordings you make are saved directly to your own device and remain under your control.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.
  • We do not use your scripts or recordings to train AI models.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the Service: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (web payments), and RevenueCat with Apple and Google (mobile purchases). Each processes only the data needed for its role.

Data retention and deletion

Your account data and scripts are kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual scripts at any time from within the app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below and we will process the request promptly.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
